Our Patient Satisfaction Instrument (PSI) was developed in Australia in consultation with Australian practice managers, GPs and patients. It has since been approved by the Royal Australian College of General Practioners (RACGP) as one of the preferred accreditation tools for measuring patient satisfaction. It provides a comprehensive understanding of patient views of a practice. It also shows how the practice performs against other practice results in our vast database. This provides a practice with a list of priorities and suggestions on how to improve those aspects of a general practice.
